Since Goodocks establishment in 2008, we have provided design and construction services for more than 40 yacht clubs around the world, with a total pontoon construction area of about 150,000 square meters.Looking back to company's 15-years development,we witnessed the rapid growth of the global demand for pontoon systems, and will continue to explore a broader pontoon product market in the future. We have a pontoon manufacturing factory of over 10,000 square meters. Goodocks fully participated in the design and construction of Discovery Bay Marina Refurbishment Works, the first concrete pontoon system project that was approved by Hong Kong Building Department since the opening of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. (A total of 180 berths among with maximum capacity of 300 feet)
Goodocks undertook the design and construction works of pontoon system for China’s present largest yacht club with complete facilities, Happy Sea Yacht Club, Weifang City, Shandong Province, where all pontoons of more than 20000m2 in this project were anchored by elastic mooring system. (A total of 320 berths among with maximum capacity for 200-feet iron-clad patrolling vessels)
Goodocks undertook the first-phase design and construction works of pontoon system refurbishment of Point Roberts Marina Resort in Seattle, the USA, it was also the first time that Chinese marina company exported aluminium alloy structural pontoons to the USA. (A total of 42 berths among with maximum capacity of 100 feet)
Goodocks undertook the design and construction works of the first aluminium alloy structural pontoon system for Dalian Laohutan Fisherman’s Wharf in Dalian City, Liaoning Province. (A total of 40 berths among with maximum capacity of 60 feet)
Goodocks’s aluminium alloy structural pontoons were exported to Singapore for the project of Singapore Police Coast Guard Pier, it was also the first time that Chinese marina company exported this kind of products to Singapore in order to serve for local iron-clad vessels patrolling. (A total of 22 berths among with maximum capacity of 65 feet)
Goodocks undertook the design and construction works of the first aluminium alloy structural pontoon system for Hezheng East Bay Yacht Club in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. (A total of 280 berths among with maximum capacity of 150 feet)
Goodocks undertook the design and construction works for Terminal Transportation Center of Tangshan International Tourism Island, which adopted an initiative pontoon system of “Aluminium Alloy + Steel Structures” in Heibei Province, China. (A total of 300 berths among with maximum capacity of 150 feet)
Goodocks undertook the design and construction works of the first aluminium alloy structural pontoon project for Sanya Yalong Bay Yacht Club in Hainan Province, China. (A total of 180 berths among with maximum capacity of 1870 feet)
In 2010, Nansha Yacht Club, Guangzhou project undertaken by GOODOCKS is the first aluminum alloy pontoon project in mainland, China as well as the first yacht club in China that was accredited to MIA’s international "Five-Gold-Anchor" certification. In the same year, Nansha Yacht Club specially invited Jacques Rogge, the eighth president of the International Olympic Committee, to cut the ribbon at opening ceremony. Goodocks’s first generation aluminium alloy structural pontoon applied for patent to China National Intellectual Property Administration.
Goodocks undertook design and construction works of the first yacht club in Hainan Province, China, the first phase construction of Visun Royal Yacht Club. (A total of 68 berths among with maximum capacity of 60 feet)
Goodocks participated in the pontoon extension project of Longcheer Yacht Club held by China Vanke Co., Ltd., as the first yacht club in mainland China, the whole pontoon system adopted a pioneering mode of “Hot-dip Galvanized Steel Structure + Fibre-reinforced Plastic Floats + Anti-corrosion Wooden Paving”, the club was awarded the qualification of 1st China Cup International Regatta. Retrospect to 2005, the founder of Goodocks (HongKong) Co.,Ltd and Potona Marine Co., Ltd., Mr. Henry Qu devoted himself to China’s first concrete pontoon project, Qingdao International Sailing Center for the 29th Olympic Games, which was accredited to international Four-Gold-Anchor certification by Marina Association Industries (MIA).
